Veterinarian

What is your role here?

I am a veterinarian at Macarthur Vet Group, I am currently based predominately at the Gregory Hills clinic.

When did you start working at MVG?

I started working at Macarthur Vet Group on the 8th of January 2018.

What are your qualifications and when did you achieve them?

I have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc), Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (BVMS) and a Bachelor of Animal Science with honours (BSc (Hons)) from Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia.

What are some of the things you love about the veterinary industry?

I have always had a genuine desire to help animals and their owners, wanting to become part of the veterinary profession from when I was a young girl. I love coming to work every day to share my passion in providing the best veterinary care for our patients and their families.

MVG is a great place to work because…

I love how everyone treats each patient like they were their own, providing the greatest care in every aspect of their visit to our clinics.

Description of your pets / spouse / family

My partner Julian and I moved from Perth in late 2017 with our fur-children Sheldon and Sadie. Sheldon is a domestic short hair cat and Sadie is a Rhodesian Ridgeback. They have a love hate relationship and get up to lots of trouble together.  In 2018, I adopted Suzie, a domestic medium hair cat who was handed in as a stray at our Camden clinic.

One interesting fact about you that no one knows!

I have played the piano since I was 7 years old. It is my hobby that helps me to unwind and relax when I get home!
