Call Centre Receptionist
What is your role here?
I am one of 3 Receptionists based at the Bradbury clinic. We take the initial phone calls, schedule appointments and answer general enquiries for all of our 4 clinics.
When did you start working at MVG?
What are your qualifications and when did you achieve them?
I have a Certificate II in Animal Studies – gained in 2015 .
A Certificate in Rescue & Immediate Care for W.I.R.E.S. – gained in 2015 ( which I would like to re-new)
What are some of the things you love about the veterinary industry?
I love meeting the individual patients and discovering their unique personalities. I also love working in an industry where I feel I can make a difference to the animals and their owners and I am lucky to come into contact with a lot of animals, including native wildlife and unique birds, which I would not normally have the opportunity to meet up close. It is a relief to come to work every day and not feel conscious about having pet hair on my clothes.
MVG is a great place to work because…
I thoroughly enjoy working with kind, like-minded people who are all working towards a common goal, to assist sick animals and improve their quality of life. I work in a busy environment where I learn something new every day and no two days are ever the same. All of the staff are extremely helpful and supportive and It is very rewarding to be part of such a professional and competent team of individuals.
