Kate T

Veterinary Nurse

What is your role here?

I am a casual Veterinary Nurse here at Macarthur Veterinary Group. You may see my familiar face at both our Mount Annan and Bradbury clinics.

When did you start working at MVG?

I started working at Macarthur Veterinary Group in September 2017

What are your qualifications and when did you achieve them?

I have been working as a veterinary nurse for a few years, and am currently completing my doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sydney, graduating as a registered veterinarian in 2021.

What are some of the things you love about the veterinary industry?

I love seeing the love and passion that owners have for their pets. From a new puppy/kitten visit, to an old companions last day, it is beautiful to see how much a pet can mean to a family. I love making these memories possible for families by ensuring the health of their animals whilst enjoying every second of it.

MVG is a great place to work because…

The vibrant and busy atmosphere of MVG clinics keeps me on my toes! Sometimes you never know whats going to come in through the door. I love handling clients with their questions, whether it be wildlife, strays, new puppies or long loved pets.

Description of your pets / spouse / family

I have an RSPCA rescue cat named Jasper, and two beautiful Rottweilers, Ruby and Lucy.

One interesting fact about you that no one knows!

I dedicate my time outside of work to foster care animals from the RSPCA – usually kittens that are too young for adoption.
