Veterinary Nurse

What is your role here?

I am a full-time veterinary nurse, based at our Bradbury clinic. Assisting other veterinary nurses and veterinarians with our day to day duties.

When did you start working at MVG?

March 2019

What are your qualifications and when did you achieve them?

Certificate II in Animal Studies (2016)

Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (2018)

What are some of the things you love about the veterinary industry?

The passion of being a veterinary nurse is what drives me! I love coming into work, knowing I am helping save lives and that I know I am doing the right thing by the patient and client, helping out wherever I can. And don’t forget coming into work, to be able to work with a great bunch of people is truly a great feeling. To be able to work as part of a team, doing what we love and what we do best is truly amazing.

MVG is a great place to work because…

Again, the staff! I love coming into work, knowing I am helping others with a great bunch of people, that treat our clients and patients with so much love and care. We are all friends inside and outside of work, which makes you feel like being part of a family.

Description of your pets/ spouse/ family.

I live in Bargo (Wollondilly Shire) and have 5 hectares of land. We have 4 horses, 3 dogs, and 3 cats on our property and love them all very dearly. All of our animals get along with each other, including the horses and there is nothing better than to come home to your furbabies after a long day at work. Our furbabies, including the horses are all treated like part of the family and that is how it should be!

One interesting fact about you that no one knows!

I am a coffeeholic and chocoholic!
